Coalson Lacey, DVM
Dr. Coalson Lacey grew up in Roanoke, Texas – just north of Fort Worth. He began working at a veterinary clinic during high school as a part of his FFA projects and grew to enjoy veterinary medicine. After high school, he attended Texas Tech University where obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science before his acceptance into Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
He graduated from Texas A&M in 2007 with his DVM and moved to Missouri to attend a seminary and prepare himself to be a long-term missionary one day. He finished seminary in 2010 and quickly returned to the DFW area to continue working as a small animal veterinarian in North Dallas. From 2013-2018 he served as a long-term missionary working with college students and volunteering at a veterinary school in the Amazon Basin of Bolivia. Now, he is back in the states and has joined our practice to care for the pets in and around Rockwall!
Dr. Lacey enjoys surgery and emergency medicine and you will routinely find him in our O.R. performing routine and life-saving surgeries. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Christian Veterinary Mission and is active in his local church.
Dr. Lacey is married to a fellow veterinarian and they have one daughter. They also share their household with a French Bulldog named Diego.
